Australian Bushland Program

Open to indigenous organisations,this program offers funding to strengthen the conservation and protection of Australia’s environmental and cultural values through establishing and managing Indigenous Protected Areas.

Farm Management Deposits (FMD) Scheme

Up to $20,000 is available to not-for-profit organisations across remote, rural and regional Australia to drive local climate solutions that reduce emissions through education, engagement and action on:

Clean energy; Circular economies; Decarbonisation; Sustainable agriculture and food systems; Biodiverse ecosystems; or Just transitions*

National Science Week Queensland Seed Grants

Inspiring Australia Queensland seeks expressions of interest (EOI) from Queensland communities to deliver innovative events and activities in August 2026, preferably in National Science Week from 15 – 23 August 2026.

Up to $4000 is available.

Homegrown

Queensland’s Destination Events Fund (Homegrown) helps connect events with the unique destinations they call home, ensuring the benefits of these events are felt far and wide across the State.

Wildlife Acoustics Scientific Product Grant

This quarterly grant program supports the advancement of wildlife research, habitat monitoring, and environmental conservation. Scientists may apply for a product grant to advance the study of bats, birds, amphibians, and other terrestrial wildlife—or a new travel grant to help them attend a conference with their peers.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant

The fund allocates grants to not-for-profit community groups, to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.

QRIDA – Regional Drought Resilience Planning Scheme

Up to $450,000 is available to support entities in developing a draft regional drought resilience plan and implementing the activities identified in a regional drought resilience plan to increase preparedness for future drought disruptions. It forms part of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund (FDF) which aims to boost drought and climate resilience.
