training + Capacity building for Australian communities

Interactive, tailored training for regional AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITIES

AVAILABLE IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY

With 30+ years experience working in regional Australia, we’re passionate about up-skilling people so that rural and remote places continue to thrive.

Our interactive training sessions and workshops cover topics that grassroots organisations, volunteer community groups, regional sectors and movements need to hone in order to achieve their goals – whether they be focussed on people or place.

Our workshops are tailored to the community in question and we can work with you to assess your community’s training needs. We use examples from the organisations in the room and we tie everything back to real-life scenarios to reinforce all learning.

We offer workshops that are creative or analytical, virtual or face-to-face, ranging from 3 hours to 2 days. We’re flexible, personable and committed to ensuring your grassroots groups, community workers and regional sectors have the right skills to continue delivering environmental and social outcomes.

We’ve worked with a huge variety of sectors and organisations of all sizes – from arts and cultural development, to sustainable agriculture and conservation, regional economic development, tourism, sport and recreation, First Nations, Native Title and Indigenous ranger programs, as well as with large government agencies and local councils serving the biggest (and smallest) communities in Australia.

SERVICING REGIONAL & REMOTE AUSTRALIA

We’ve spent 30+ years delivering hundreds of workshops to thousands of community workers across Australia.

Our workshops often take place in regional and remote locations as we understand the unique challenges of navigating government and bureaucratic programs from out of the way locations.

We’ve run workshops from the tip of Cape York to the NSW border, from Wide Bay Burnett, out to Mount Isa, through the iconic Channel Country and right across the Darling Downs.

We’ve helped farmers get grants in Reef catchments from Bundaberg and Rockhampton to Mackay, Townsville and Cairns and we’ve helped graziers access natural disaster funding through the Northern and Southern Gulf and Central Queensland.

If you’re looking for training for your rural community, let’s talk.

“Sam shared her many years of experience with us and helped us to understand the process of grant writing in a clear, simple and succinct way.
