Community Fund Grants

Closing 9 September 2022

The aim of the community fund will be to provide funds to enhance and enrich community initiatives throughout the local community in the Isaac and Livingstone Shire areas. Up to $100,000 is available.

Environmental Recovery Grants

The Environmental Recovery Package will be delivered through four sub-packages:

  • Riverine Recovery Program – Closes 9 September
  • Weeds and Pest Management Program – Closes 9 September
  • Biodiversity Conservation Program – Closes TBA
  • Environmental Assets Program – Closes TBA

The Reece Grant

Closing 16 September 2022

Reece are committed to supporting projects in local and international communities, empowering and supporting people with the skills and knowledge to help those communities that need it most. Funding between $5,000 and $30,000 is available. The fund prioritises applications that focus on the New South Wales and Queensland flood relief efforts. 

Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative

Closing 26 September 2022

The Community Impact Program is designed to support community members and not-for-profit organisations in remote, rural and regional Australia to drive local action that helps prepare for drought. This funding is available across 35 defined LGA regions. $200,000 to $500,000 is available. 

Community Grants – SEQ Severe Weather Events

Closing 7 October 2022

The RACQ Foundation gives community groups, charities and sporting clubs the opportunity to rebuild after cyclones, severe storms, bushfires and drought. 

Special Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants – Qld Rainfall and Flooding

Closing 5 December 2022

Grants of up to $50,000 are available to assist directly impacted primary producers with the costs of clean-up and the reinstatement of their business. 

Disaster Assistance Loans

Closing 31 December 2022

Disaster Assistance Loans are available to assist primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations with re-establishing normal operations. Up to $250,000 is available. 

Extraordinary Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants

Closing 6 January 2023

Grants of up to $75,000 are available to assist directly impacted small businesses, primary producers and non-profits with the costs of clean-up and reinstatement after the southern Qld flooding.

Bushfire Restoration Grants – Tree Planting

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife invites applications to support tree planting projects as part of bushfire restoration projects in and around regions impacted by the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires. This grant provides in-kind support only. 

Essential household contents grant

Apply any time

If you are uninsured, or unable to claim insurance, you may be eligible for financial assistance to provide a contribution towards replacing or repairing essential household contents, such as beds, linen and whitegoods, that have been lost or damaged in a disaster. Grants of up to $1,765 for single adults and up to $5,300 for couples/families are available.  

Rural Aid Australia

Rural Aid is offering Primary Producers a ONE OFF $1000 payment to assist with bill expenses. 

Drought Angels

Apply any time

Drought Angels provide funding directly to farming families suffering the effects of drought. 

CWA Public Rural Crisis Fund

Apply any time

This provides financial support to families/households in two circumstances:

  1. Natural Disasters such as flood, fire, cyclone or drought. You can apply for financial support of up to $1000 per family/household.
  2. General financial hardship provides up to $500 per family/household.

Farm Household Allowance Program

Apply any time

This program run by the Department of Human Services offers financial assistance to farming households in hardship.
