Australia Council for the Arts – Arts Organisations funding | 7 September

This program funds organisations that undertake arts programs, projects or that provide services to artists. Single projects, a suite of projects or annual programs of activity between $20,000 and $100,000 may be funded. Closing date is Tuesday 7 September 2021 at 3pm AEST. To apply you must be registered in their application management system a minimum of two business days prior to the closing date. Australia Council for the Arts – Individuals and Groups funding | 7 September

Australia Council Fellowships | 7 September

Business Basics Grants Program – Regional Qld | Open 8 September

The Business Basics grants program provides support to businesses to increase core skills and adopt best practice.

This support includes funded activities in 5 priorities:

  • Training and coaching
  • Website build or upgrades
  • Professional business advice
  • Strategic marketing services
  • Business continuity and succession

Community Fishing Grants | 12 September

This Program supports activities and projects that enhance recreational fishing experiences and support traditional fishing. Online Grant Seeker Workshop NT Only | 14 September

The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) is holding a free grant seeker workshop for community groups in the Northern Territory. The workshop will highlight FRRR’s grant programs and provide grant-writing tips to help community groups become more confident in applying for any of FRRR’s grant programs, like the Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) grant program. Suncorp Rebuilding Futures | 15 September

The first grant round is for communities in New South Wales and South-East Queensland impacted by the March 2021 flood events. Visual Arts Grant | 30 September

This fund prioritises exhibitions of Australian, Asian, Pacific or other international art, or those of significant local importance.  It will assist with the costs of research, travel, publication, and the dissemination of knowledge and the enjoyment of all aspects of the visual arts to the widest possible audience. The Foundation is normally prepared to support well-conceived projects of all kinds in the Visual Arts (other than capital works). The Sisters of Charity Foundation provides charity grants of up to $15,000 to eligible applicants. The Queensland Arts Showcase Program | 1 October

The QASP supports vibrant and accessible arts and cultural experiences for Queensland by individuals, organisations or collectives. The QASP program is delivered through three streams Arts Accelerate, Arts Activate and Arts Advantage.  Applicants can be approved for one QASP grant only per financial year. Arts Accelerate and Arts Activate provide up-front, one-off grants of up to $30,000 (sole-funding) and up to $60,000 (co-funding). Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition | 8 October

In 2009, Alberts collaborated with APRA AMCOS to establish an international songwriters competition, acknowledging great songwriting whilst supporting and raising money for Nordoff-Robbins.  Alberts has been a longstanding supporter of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Australia through its mission to transform lives through the provision of music therapy. Touring Queensland Fund | 13 October

The Touring Queensland Fund (TQF) supports the delivery of high quality, tour-ready work to and from regional Queensland communities with demonstrated community interest and demand.

  • Up to $20,000 for an artist in residence component of any application.
  • Up to $150,000 total per application for a single tour or program of two tours.
  • Up to $200,000 total per application for a multi-tour program of three or more tours.

Expression Deaf Grants | 31 October

Future Drought Fund | 1 November

The Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund provides a sustainable source of funding to help remote, rural and regional communities, and farmers, become more prepared for, and resilient to, the impacts of drought. The Fund is part of the Government’s Drought Response, Resilience and Preparedness Plan.  Three tiers of grants are available:

  • $10,000 to $20,000;
  • $20,000 to $50,000;
  • $50,000 to $150,000

Wiri Yuwiburra Community Benefits Trust | 31 December

This trust offers a wide variety of grant programs to support and assist Aboriginal Group beneficiaries. Funding is available in the areas of Education, Community, Training, Research and Business Development. This fund offers multiple programs to support the community impacted by the Hail Creek Mine in Central Queensland inland from the coast around Mackay.  Programs include:
